Delivery Philosophy

When you apply new information, knowledge and skills into your own ‘space’ then learning has taken place. Often after attending a training program we dive back into our workplace, meeting familiar challenges head on and suddenly suffer from ‘skills amnesia.’ (We revert back to the old way of doing things).

Does your high level of activity get in the way of your productivity? If so, how can we improve the output to input ratio?

Part of the answer lies in the technology you have at your disposal, though this is of limited benefit if not backed up with a solid skill set and good habits. Habits need to be developed with care and over time with correct practise. While technology can provide us with a push-button panacea to solving some problems, it is only as good as the person using it.

For learning to be most effective we need to fully accept responsibility. All programs delivered by SRC and EMS place ‘self’ at the centre of the learning situation, maximising the benefit you obtain. This is backed up with 20 email tips over a period of 30 days to remind you via a drip feed process to cement new habits, thus avoiding the ‘skills amnesia.’

Accepting personal responsibility for learning and implementing correct practise is essential in every email culture today. Because of the phenomenal growth rate in email transmissions (40% per annum since 1981) and the subsequent rate of increase in the number of users, most e-mail cultures have either been managed by default or under managed (a small percentage have been well managed).
